2010-04-02
- Photographed whole chassis before removing/disconnecting any parts. Cleaned out all loose paper/foam/etc. Started identifying major components and what the purpose of each is. Photos available in Initial Internal Photos gallery.
- Removed and wirebrushed card cage fan retention bracket.
- Reverse engineered a schematic for the power distribution board and created an EAGLE schematic for it.
2010-04-04
- Did a lot of wiring harness tracing, added to schematic. Removed any wiring that could be removed once it was traced/documented. Took photos of all wire routing (not yet uploaded) so that I can hopefully re-route it the same once it goes back in.
- Removed maintenance panel board for reverse-engineering.
