StrichPOS is a point-of-sale system, as well as a demo platform for the MultiSerial Shield, VGA Shield, and PoE Shield.

Project Status

Ordered thermal printer (Citizen CMP10) and barcode reader (Symbol P304) 2011-04-16, need to order RS232 cable for the latter still.

Hardware Stack

  • USB Host Shield OR Proto Shield - Connected to input device, either keyboard or a few buttons
  • VGA Shield - Connected to monitor
  • MultiSerial Shield - Connected to printer and barcode reader
  • Arduino Uno
