StrichPOS is a point-of-sale system, as well as a demo platform for the MultiSerial Shield, VGA Shield, and PoE Shield.
Project Status
2011-07-19: System was used successfully at Mini Maker Faire Toronto 2011! Dormantizing for now as I have other priorities, but still want to get some work done on this to clean it up later.
Pre-July 2011: Ordered thermal printer (Citizen CMP10) and barcode reader (Symbol P304) 2011-04-16, need to order RS232 cable for the latter still.
Hardware Stack
- USB Host Shield - Connected to numeric keypad
- VGA Shield - Connected to monitor
- MultiSerial Shield - Connected to printer and barcode reader
- Arduino Uno
